Tilaknagar Industries Unveils Mansion House Reserve French Style Brandy
Tilaknagar Industries launched Mansion House Reserve French Style Brandy, the premium variant of its flagship Mansion House brand, as part of the expansion of the major’s premium brand portfolio. In the first phase, the new Mansion House Reserve Brandy will be available in Tamil Nadu, which is the largest brandy consuming state in India. This will be followed by a launch in other major markets.
The unique feature of the exclusive Mansion House Reserve French Style Brandy is its blend, which is made from a special type of hand-picked ‘Ugni Blanc’ grapes from the Sahyadris which impart a slightly sweet and lingering taste. The new launch follows the unveiling of the country’s first premium flavored brandy under the Mansion House brand.
Amit Dahanukar, chairman and managing director of Tilaknagar Industries, said the high demand for premium products is also fueling the cocktail culture in India.
“Our goal is to provide an exceptional consumer experience through our line of premium brandy products. As a market leader, we also aspire to spotlight brandy across markets and geographies and highlight the versatility of this beverage. »
In FY22, about six million cases of Mansion House Brandy were sold and the brand saw 25% year-over-year growth, Dahanukar said.
In the premium brandy category, the company also manufactures and sells the super-premium Courrier Napoleon Brandy, which is also fast approaching “millionaire brand” status.
Brandy continues to lead the company’s growth and aims to increase sales by 12-15% per year over the next three to five years.
In the Made in India Foreign Liquor (IMFL) category, it is the second largest product segment and accounts for 20% of the total volume of the IMFL sector.
India is one of the biggest brandy markets in the world. According to an estimate by Tilkanagar Industries, the premium brandy market in India is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10-12%.
