Ted Cruz supports NBA players who refuse to be vaccinated
If you are an unvaccinated NBA player, I want you to think of one thing and only one thing: Texas Sen. Ted “I left my constituents frozen while I took my family to Cancun“Cruz is standing by your side.
That’s right: Kyrie Irving, Andrew Wiggins, Bradley Beal and Jonathan Isaac, Fat Wolverine is on your side.
Want to know other things Ted Cruz agrees with?
It is all for Dollar Tree to increase its prices. He opposes a higher minimum wage. He was a fan of fair-skinned Aunt Viv. He was against Obamacare, and is still against same-sex marriage and the legalization of marijuana. He hates immigrants, training and black people.
And now he’s aligned with NBA players who are painfully ill-informed about the vaccine and COVID-19 in general. Sadly one of those players is Bradley Beal from my sad Washington basketball team – I know they have a non-offensive team name, but who are we kidding? This team has not been respectable for years.
Just listen to this poppy spat out by Beal:
What’s most amazing about this painfully ignorant position is that Beal actually thought he was handling shit. As if he really thought he was going to fight his way through that silly explanation like he didn’t look like a Pootie Tang in uniform. I mean you can’t lie, he was gentle with it. It reminds me a bit of myself after standing outside in front of the street lights that were turning on.
But back to Fat Wolverine’s comments on the NBA. After several people on Twitter noted that Cruz’s ass was fully vaccinated, they also pointed out that the Gas Senator had the audacity to hashtag his tweet with the battle cry of a woman who believes (rightly so) that the government must stay away from their bodies. See, Cruz is a senator from Texas and Texas has abortions prohibited at six weeks–– I know you knew that but I had to point it out. So of course famous people and famous people on Twitter must have called the senator on his shit.
Director and actor Judd Apatow replied, “So you believe in choice now? Are you going to fight for it? Oh, not for women. Understood.”
Former American football player turned host George Wrigster III said: “Keep that same #YourBodyYourChoice energy when it comes to women’s bodies.”
Comedy host Samantha Bee, music producer Thelonious Martin, former footballer Shannon Sharpe and many other Twitter users have joined in the attack, as have Democratic activists such as Nancy Pelosi’s daughter Christine Pelosi and a social media influencer. Majid Padellan, known as Brooklyn Dad Defiant.
“Ted Cruz is pro-choice?” Mrs. Bee asked sarcastically. “When you and this guy are on the same side, please rethink your position,” said MSNBC host Tiffany D Cross.
I don’t think that’s a hard thing to figure out because you basically live your whole life righteously asking yourself one question. “What would Ted Cruz do?” And like Jesus does every day, just do the opposite of that.
