Good morning! Fashion picks the best designer clothing charity shops the capital has to offer

Whether you’re a seasoned charity shopper or a recent convert, London has a brilliant selection of shops giving you the chance to do a few designer shopping and vote with your wallet at the same time. With the current shift towards ethical fashion, many of us are thinking more about where our clothes come from – and for good reason.

Good morning! Fashion selects the best charity shops for designer clothes:

Mary’s Living and Giving Shop for Save The Children, Blackheath

Set up by fashion guru Mary Portas, there are Living and Giving charity shops dotted all over London and beyond. The Blackheath boutique, which opened in 2015, is home to a wealth of designer treasures, with pieces from the likes of Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Etro.

TRAID, Westbourne Grove

The Westbourne Grove branch of TRAID is well known for its stylish donors, and it even has a handy Depop account when you’re not in the area. The association donates its proceeds to “global projects improving working conditions and practices in the textile industry” and is well worth the trip.
