“I like to run, box-to-box. I am good defensively and I have experience because since then [I was] 18 I was professional. I can run fast for a long time, ”Kamara explained.
“I used to be a winger so I like attacking but I know I’m a defender first and foremost. I can give my energy, I’m so energetic. I can help the team.
“When I went to Nice from Reims, I saw a good club. Nice are a very good club with ambition. We played the Europa League, had so many games and wanted to be in first place. It’s good because I learned, improved my game, offensively and defensively. It’s a good experience.
Now at Watford, Kamara is completely focused on survival in the Premier League and helping the Hornets earn points. He emphasizes defensive improvement as a key and hopes he can turn things around for the Hornets at the back.
“Collectively, we hope to stay in the Premier League,” he continued. “Next week we have three big games and we’re focusing on those games and we collectively want to improve our game. Personally, I want to help the team, give myself 100% and play a good game.
“I think we need to be stronger defensively. If we are stronger defensively, we will win games.
“I think I have to be calm because this is my dream!” I need to observe the game because it is my first game and to get to know my team better. I want to do whatever I have to do.
