Famous Connecticut Boyfriend Has Happy Ending In Florida – NBC Connecticut
Connecticut’s famous Buddy the Beefalo, nicknamed “biso-cow” by his new owners, makes friends and enjoys his time at his new home in Gainesville, Florida.
Buddy has been released from quarantine and is already enjoying his time with other friends at Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary.
The shrine said they were a little nervous about how Buddy would react upon meeting the rest of the herd, but he fitted in perfectly. Buddy ran right past Buffalo who didn’t even really notice that someone new had been added to the herd they mentioned.
In the video posted by Buddy’s new owners, he can be seen running around and interacting with other members of the herd.
âAfter escaping death at the slaughterhouse, then living alone for eight whole months, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better outcome for him than this. He looks happy, he seems to feel safe, and he has all the friends and green grass he could want. I just wish every biso-cow and cow story had a happy ending like Buddy’s, âCritter Creek said on Facebook.
The shrine said when they left it, it was “happily grazing with his new family-moo.”
The Buddy Saga began when the 1,000-pound cattle escaped from a Plymouth butcher in August. Even Plymouth Police Captain Benecchi traveled to Florida to find Buddy after being captured earlier this year.
His time on the run brought pleasure to people in town and beyond.
