In a presentation to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), Emma Watson once again made it clear that she supports the trans community and against the anti-trans views of Harry Potter author JK Rowling .
Rebel Wilson hosted the show on Sunday and introduced Watson, saying, “She calls herself a feminist, but we all know she’s a witch.”

When Watson took the microphone, she immediately emphasized, “I’m here to all witches by the way,” which many see as a direct rebuke to Rowling and a clear stance for the trans community.
After Rowling made it clear that she was a Trans-Exclusive Radical Feminist (TERF), Watson publicly spoke out in favor of the trans community, tweeting, “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to be. live their lives without being constantly questioned. or says they are not who they say they are.
“I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are.”

Rowling’s continued transphobic antics have led many Harry Potter fans to distance themselves from her.
The author has posted rants about transgender people, spoken out in favor of conversion therapy for trans people, and said almost everyone agrees with her, even though famous people she’s been with worked condemned his remarks. She also published a book about a man who wears dresses to kill women.
