DJ Calvin Harris calls for $25 million for East Coast-inspired Beverly Hills resort
DJ Calvin Harris has spent the past eight years remodeling his 2.69-acre resort in Beverly Hills, but he’s ready to give up. According to Los Angeles Timesthe musician put the property up for sale earlier this week for $25 million, which is $10 million more than he bought it for in 2014.
The endlessly sprawling property features five structures and virtually every amenity you could hope for. A home gym, basketball court, sun dome, home cinema, two recording studios and a swimming pool are among the many facilities on the grounds. With 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms split between the main house and the guest house, there is plenty of room for visitors and residents to enjoy. The traditional style of the home offsets the modernity of amenities, such as in the impressive living room which boasts coffered ceilings, exposed brickwork, herringbone hardwood floors and an abundance of built-in shelving. The master suite is particularly decadent, with vaulted beamed ceilings, a fireplace and patio doors to the back courtyard, as well as double bathrooms and walk-in closets. According to Los Angeles TimeHarris is responsible for the thoughtful design of the space as he remodeled it during his ownership.

The estate’s hillside location and accompanying views add to the beauty of the outdoor space, which offers a pergola and barbecue station as well as the aforementioned features. Right in front of the entrance to the house is a large vegetable garden located for optimal sunshine. The skylights are distributed throughout the house to bring as much of this brightness to the interiors.
