7 tips for showcasing your great corporate culture on LinkedIn

If you were a client or a candidate, would you like to work with your company based on their LinkedIn page?
Chances are, your LinkedIn Page is missing the mark when it comes to accurately describing what a great business you have. It might not even say who you are helping and how you are helping them. It may not reflect your amazing culture. And that’s a problem.
It’s no surprise that most buyers likely research your business online before making their purchasing decision. Not only that, but with “the big resignation”, according to a study, 41% of employees are considering leaving their current job.
You will need to take steps to attract your potential buyers and either keep your current employees or attract new employees quickly.
So what can you do?
It is likely that you do not control your business page on LinkedIn. In that case, share this article with your marketing team. If you have access to it, start making the most of the free features your page has to offer.
1. Create a banner associated with your website and other social platforms. Make sure it actually matches the page on desktop and mobile. Be sure to check out the latest size guidelines from LinkedIn. You can create a version suitable for personal pages and share it with your employees as well.
2. Combine your tagline and the call to action (CTA) button to create a cohesive message. Our slogan is “Virtual Selling Skills Training and Technology for Today’s Modern Salesperson.” Click on the “Learn more now” button. The “learn more” button directs them to one of our free eBooks.
3. When it comes to posting on your page, don’t just add job postings. Think about how you can use posts, videos, infographics, and documents to really showcase your business and its culture. And by that, I’m not just talking about your products or services. Or even free webinars and blog posts. Create graphics with quotes from industry influencers, famous people, your own business leadership, and your employees. Download and share videos of your company’s latest selfless initiative. Share case studies of satisfied customers and testimonials from customers and employees. Focus on your audience. What are their needs ? Can you share a podcast or blog post that can help you? Excellent, do it. And be sure to share content every day.
4. Do you have an “about us” video? A message from the CEO? Pin it to the top of your page so that everyone who comes to your page can see it.
5. Apply for LinkedIn Live. LinkedIn Live is a great live streaming platform to showcase your expertise, employees, clients, and other subject matter experts. Each week we welcome special guests or share important industry news or interview our clients. We do this to showcase who we are, What we do, and How? ‘Or’ What we help.
6. Increase employee engagement with the “My Business” tab on LinkedIn. If your business has more than 200 employees, you can use this feature to share organic posts and curated content created by your marketing team for your employees. By accessing recommended articles and clicking ‘share’, your employees can share content (spell-checked and spell-checked) with relevant attached media (@mentions, #hashtages and visuals) on their own networks. There are corporate culture features that support the celebration of work anniversaries and new hires. Employees can also help each other by engaging with their colleagues’ trending LinkedIn posts.
7. Your company’s LinkedIn page is not a one-off project. Keep updating your banners and videos to reflect new initiatives. Post daily and make sure you add lots of relevant content for your employees to share. And if you have access to the page and its analytics, be sure to keep an eye on your information and do more of what works.
LinkedIn Company Pages can be an amazing resource for your business and your brand, if you know how to use them. Remember to keep your page focused on the audience. What can you do to improve their life? If you apply the strategies above, you’ll be well on your way to showcasing a culture that others want to work with.
